Joyce has a BS in Computer Science and 11 years experience in the computer programming and systems manager fields. In early 2007, Joyce began designing web sites and launched her own web site design business.
"Joyce is an intuitive genius. We had requirements for both commercial and government clients that posed issues for concise content and ease of use. Joyce understood those requirements and our desires for a ‘clean’ design, turning out a new structure that met both. She has an excellent business insight, suggesting tips for usability that we were unfamiliar with. Additionally, she met every deadline, even delivering before many of the requested milestones. We can’t be more happy. Thanks Joyce!" - Bradley Morgan & Stephan Marais, Walks Beside Coaching & Consulting, Leesburg
"Thanks Joyce--I have to tell you, I have received MANY compliments on your work on the website. Those who have seen it really like it! ... Thanks a bunch!" - L.D. in Aldie
"Business is great thanks to you. Everyone loves the website. " - S.C. in Leesburg

"Thank you so much for doing such an excellent job re-designing my web site! You have been creative, thorough, and a joy to work with!" - Patricia, Wellness Pathways, Leesburg

My client requested a clean, fresh site for her med spa that advertises monthly specials in a slideshow format. She also wanted the site to connect with Social Media and contain a blog where she could post weekly updates.
This site is the ecommerce complement to the Posh Med Spa site shown above. The theme was customized to match the main site. Includes Featured Products, Best Sellers, Wish List, User Rating, Newsletter Signup, Blog and more.
The owner wanted a dynamic site that would hold viewers' attention. This Wordpress site's home page has a slideshow, featured video, a 'blended' Twitter feed from two accounts, a Facebook feed, custom background, custom header, and an upcoming events section.
This non-profit asked for a custom site similar to one of the sponsor's sites with modified logo, bright colors, and slideshow. The initial site was up and running within the required time of one week.
I helped Dr Clary choose new hosting and a website builder so she could easily maintain the site herself after I set it up. I took info and photos from the old site and created a new, clean-looking site with her preferred colors, layout, and Facebook link.
This photographer chose an ecommerce photo-hosting service for her site, which I reviewed for her to ensure it would be the best choice. I then set up and customized the site, uploaded her photos, set up galleries, and configured the shopping cart.
Tally Ho Theatre owners wanted a site up and running quickly that would promote their big annual comedy event by showcasing the comedy groups and their videos. The site is a Wordpress blog which allows the comedy groups to post comments about the upcoming shows. (Event Discontinued)
This business owner asked for a site with a moving model train, train whistles, manufacturer logos, and photos. Functionality was added that provides site owner with the ability to post announcements on the site.
This community management firm wanted a site with a blog that they could update themselves. Site visitors can play the company's theme song, download documents, read latest news postings, view latest Tweets and more. Site design includes custom template with custom header and navigation bar.
A very basic private investigator site was transformed into a professional site with scrolling testimonials, a slideshow and a clear explanation of both aspects of his small business. "The site looks GREAT! Thanks." - Site Owner
The client wanted a simple site that displayed several categories of her paintings, her bio, and artist statement. This is a WordPress site, which gives her the capability to update the site herself. She can blog, upload photos, edit the content and add links to the sidebar.
The owner had an existing site but was looking for more economical hosting, and faster and less costly web site updates. The site was moved to new hosting and was up and running with a new class schedule in time for Winter registration.
Before (left) and after views of a women's networking site, which now provides a dynamically generated list of events and news, luncheon registration, business directory with logos, event calendar, and newsletter signup.
The existing site was completely redone to be more friendly, inviting, and exciting. A new color scheme was implemented and photos were optimized and placed alongside related information instead of in separate photo galleries.
The original web site was completely re-designed to provide more effective marketing of the products and shopping cart capability. In 2011, this site was converted to a true ecommerce store. The owner can add new products and manage customer orders. Shoppers can create wish lists and gift registries, and can track their order.
Plenty of photos, a country fun style, and an Event Calendar were the requirements for this site. The calendar includes an administrator panel for adding events and displays this month's and next month's events in a list on the home page.
A local nonprofit group requested this site to educate the community on preventing falls in the elderly. I converted their previous HTML site to a Wild Apricot Membership Management site, customizing the template to preserve the original look for a seamless transition.
